FeeSafe is an insurance policy which will cover employment tribunal fees from 29th July 2013. From this date workers wishing to make any claim in the Employment Tribunal or take a matter to a hearing must pay a 2 stage Tribunal fee. The policy Box Legal is providing will allow a claimant to insure these fees should their case be unsuccessful.
Box Legal is also to offer clients loans for the £950 Hearing Fees as well as enhanced policies to cover Counsel’s Fees.
Box Legal, founded in 2002 by former partners of Kingsford Stacey Blackwell solicitors, offers After the Event Insurance (ATE insurance) to law firms with the added benefit of minimal administration and reporting and the assurance that polices can be cancelled at any time.
ATE insurance is purchased by Solicitors or their clients to safeguard from possible charges whatever the reason may be.
